  12. 1 cup Packed brown sugar
  13. 1/2 cup Shredded coconut
  14. 1 cup Chopped walnuts or pecans
  15. 1/3 cup Melted butter



How To Make Easy Homemade Sweet potatoes Recipe


  1. Boil your sweet potatoes or yams until tender. Let them cool, then peel and cut into smaller pieces

  2. Add sweet potatoes and remaining ingredients for the filling in a shallow dish and mix on medium speed until smooth.

  3. In separate bowl, combine topping ingredients and add crumble to the top of the filling

  4. Bake covered at 375 for 20-25mins. Then uncover and bake an additional 5-8mins or until the crumble is browned

  5. **if you use unsweetened shredded coconut for your topping, up your brown sugar by a bit. I used sweetened shredded coconut so I only added a 1/2cup of brown sugar**
