- 2 large eggs & 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 cup packed Brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 - 15oz can pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup half and half
- Streusel
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp cold butter - cut in cubes
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans

Fir the crust : in a bowl whisk together flour, sugar, salt. Add cold butter & shortening. Using a fork cut butter into flour until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Drizzle ice water into mixture 1 Tbsp. At a time until it starts to come together. Do not overmix. Press the dough together. Wrap into plastic wrap. Shape into 4 -5" round. Chill 30 minutes.
Dust work surface with flour. Roll into a 12" round. Carefully transfer dough into a 9" pie plate. Trim & flute. Preheat oven to 375ë?. Chill dough 10 minutes.
Reduce oven to 350ë?. Bake another 25-35 minutes. Until toothpick comes out clean cool completely. Then chill 1-2 hours. Keep refrigerated.
